KEIGHLEY CLLD SMALL SCALE BUSINESS GRANT SCHEME

The aim of the scheme is to accelerate business growth and stimulate new job creation.

The Keighley CLLD Small Scale Business Grant scheme is part co-financed by ERDF and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (CBMDC). The aim of the business grants is to accelerate business growth and stimulate new job creation, within the Keighley CLLD Area.

To be eligible for the Small Scale Business Grant scheme, businesses must be located within the Keighley CLLD area.

The grant aims to support the following:

  • New business start-ups
  • Self-employed
  • Existing micro / SME businesses

that are unsupported by existing local programmes either by sector, age, size or business type.

  • The value of the grant available will range from £1000 to £5000 per business/project
  • Applicants will be required to provide twenty per-cent (20%) towards total project costs.
  • Applicants must submit three (3) quotes with their application.
  • The maximum grant value available is £5000, eighty percent (80%) of total project costs. In exceptional circumstances, a grant value of £7,500 will be considered.  
  • Applicants will be required to have a business bank account.
  • Applicants will be required to provide a business plan and practical cash-flow forecast to show that the business is viable and has growth potential.

Applications with total project costs less than £1250 (£1,000 grant value, £250 applicant contribution) will not be considered.
