The Location
The six-acre Park is right in the very heart of Bradford city centre, surrounding the Grade 1-listed City Hall. Phase 2 of the City Park will create the landscape for investment in a new Central Business District (CBD) for Bradford and this involves moving the current Magistrates and Coroners' Court to a new site.

Description of Development
The Park is a vibrant public space for everyone to enjoy, featuring a range of different uses. The Park provides a superb landscape comprising fountains, trees, public art and attractive green spaces making an ideal environment for walking, relaxing and quiet contemplation.
The centrepiece of the Park is the mirror pool, which provides an interactive space. It can be used both filled with water, but also drained and used for major public events. World-class artists have been appointed to produce work for the park: Wolfgang Buttress, Janek Schaefer and Usman Haque are working alongside the design team to add a unique dimension to the park.
The park also sensitively incorporates ‘The Business Forest', a transformational commercial development bringing skilled jobs and investment back into the heart of the city. Supported by the people of Bradford, the City Park will help unlock the potential of this great city.
