Ward profiles

A set of 30 economic ward profiles were produced in 2010 as part of the Bradford District Economic Assessment to provide further information and analysis on the individual wards of the district. Together, the economic assessment and ward profiles provide the evidence base to support the review of the Bradford District Economic Strategy.

The profiles have been updated to reflect the latest data at the end of 2011, and provide an up to date overview of the economy in each ward. The profiles are in a consistent format, allowing comparisons and cross-referencing and pick up key statistics across the people, business and place themes. The ward profiles provide some of the information needed for local partners, service providers and voluntary/community groups to understand the dynamics of local economies.

A Constituency Data Table is also provided below, and a summary report highlights some of the contrasts between wards across the district.

Please note: some of the data sources used in the 2010 ward profiles are no longer available so altenative data sources have been used. Some figures are therefore not comparable with those given in previous profiles. Numbers should be used only as indicative and with caution. More information about the data sources used in the profiles is given in the Data Sources and Definitions document below.
