NEET

Young people who are not in education, employment or training are known as NEET.

Connexions Bradford holds records for all young people between year 8 and age 20 in the district. Connexions personal advisers deliver information, advice and guidance services to young people in these age groups. Their primary focus is on helping our young people to move successfully from compulsory education to further education, higher education, jobs with training and apprenticeships.

Connexions statistics focus on numbers and rates of post-year 11 young people in education, employment and training (EET) and also numbers and rates not in education, employment and training (NEET). The aim is to drive the EET rate as high as possible and the NEET rate as low as possible.

EET and NEET figures for Bradford are published in a monthly report which can be downloaded from the Bradford Observatory website. Please follow the link below.
