The Local Economic Assessment (LEA) provides an understanding of local economic conditions, the economic geography of the district and the economic, social and environmental factors that impact on economic growth in Bradford. This information informs economic interventions across the district, enabling better use of limited resources, and contributes to the sustainable development of the district.
The first economic assessment was produced using the latest data as at December 2010, and some sections have been refreshed in light of more recently published data.
The latest version of the document, with revisions to a number of pages, can be downloaded from the link below. Updated pages have been marked with the revision date. A more comprehensive refresh of the economic assessment will be made later in 2013.
For current updates for the labour market, unemployment, businesses, etc go to the facts and figures pages within the Bradford Economy section.
