RENOWNED chef Marco Pierre White is returning to his Yorkshire roots to form a culinary partnership with the owners of Michelin starred restaurant The Box Tree.
Mr Pierre White is to team up with Simon and Rena Gueller, owners of the Ilkley restaurant, to work with the couple on future projects.
Mr and Mrs Gueller have been friends with Mr Pierre White, who has enjoyed a successful television career as well as ongoing success as a chef, for many years.
Mr Gueller said of the collaboration: "Marco and I go back a long way, and with Marco cutting his teeth here at The Box Tree, he’s always thought of the restaurant as his spiritual home.
"We’re looking forward to working on exciting and innovative projects with Marco, both here at the Box Tree in Ilkley and with our Box Tree Events, our very successful outside catering business.
"Yes, we’ve got t’s to cross and i’s to dot, but it’s going to be fun, exciting and we can’t wait."
The Box Tree's owners hope the partnership will further enhance the award winning restaurant's offer.
Mr Pierre White will be joining Mr and Mrs Gueller The Box Tree later this month to launch the first project.
