One of Bradford’s best-loved food businesses is celebrating this month – marking the first anniversary of its extensive refurbishment, Lahore Cafe Bar has launched a new website and new-look menu to complement its renowned four floor dining experience.
Following 12 very successful months of trading at the stylish venue, Lahore’s management team are using the Cafe Bar as a platform for expansion in 2011. Leigh Tasker, Lahore’s Head of Sales & Marketing, commented: “The new website is only the first step in a detailed online marketing plan designed to reaffirm the company’s position as one of the region’s most influential hospitality brands. We’re very much focussing attention on growing the business by opening branches in new locations so matching the look and feel of the site with the experience that our customers know and love was essential.”
“This milestone is an important one for the business – we now have a tried and tested flagship store that thoroughly represents the company’s image and commitment to quality food coupled with legendary customer service,” he added.
Offering a unique combination of eastern and western flavours freshly-prepared every day, Lahore is renowned for serving food that is simple, innovative and delicious. Starting life as a student cafe in 2003, the company now employs some 60 people across two sites and has grown to become well regarded by local residents and professionals alike. The sister operation – known as the ‘Deli’ – specialises in takeaway and home delivery from a branch also located on Great Horton Road just half a mile from the Cafe Bar.
Managing Director, Shakoor Ahmed, commented: “The launch of our new menu combines the best of our summer specials with the much-loved collection of Lahore classics – despite the nights drawing in, it’s a happy time for us because warm and spicy is what we do best! What better way to spend a wet and gloomy Autumn evening than dining in the company of friends or family in the fantastic surroundings of our Cafe Bar?”
“We’re really proud of what’s been achieved here – through dedicated hard work and a more ‘pro-risk’ attitude than our rivals, we have created something that in future can stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Starbucks and Dominos as a serious player in mainstream culture.”
