Malik House opens for business

October 13th, 2010

THE team behind the renovation of a Bradford building believe the premises will become a hub for the city's business community.

Malik House offers two floors of fully serviced office suites, an on-site café, Wi-Fi Internet lounge, a state of the art conference and events centre, and meeting rooms.

The business centre was the vision of father and son team Nasser and Sheraz Malik who aimed to create a sophisticated business ‘hub’ in Bradford where all business needs could be met.

Located in the heart of Bradford city centre in Manor Row, grade two-listed Malik House has been renovated to offer offices ranging from 86 sq ft to 400 sq ft.

Malik House was erected in 1899 as 29 Manor Row and originally used as Customs and Excise offices.

The premises now also offers a ground floor conference centre offering accommodation from 150 to 200 delegates.

Sheraz Malik said as Bradford was the Malik family’s home city they wanted to "give something back" to their local community.

He said: "This is an exciting opportunity for Bradford and I am confident that Malik House will become a magnet for the business community."

Malik House will be holding an open day on Friday.
