Health firm goes platinum with national award

A leading healthcare furniture and equipment manufacturer has gone platinum with a top national award.
James Spencer & Co has won a platinum medal in the infection prevention and control category at the Nursing Times product awards.
Wilsden-based Spencer clinched the accolade for its Stalham mobile sani-shower chair.
The judging panel said the product had the potential to make a huge impact on patient care.
Chairman Richard Spencer said: “Such recognition could hardly be more fitting as we developed the Stalham through direct consultation and feedback from healthcare professionals.
“The Stalham was purposely designed to reduce areas in which bacteria can be harboured and can also be easily stripped down for thorough cleaning.”
